Youth Mentoring Initiative provides community-funded mentor programs to local Hamilton County Schools. School Partnerships YMI mentors meet with their mentee while they are in school one time a week. They use the Developmental Assets as a guide in the mentoring relationship. Developmental Assets

YMI is currently looking for mentors for Carmel Options Charter School, Noblesville Options Charter School, Fishers Junior High, and Fishers High School.

WHAT WE’RE DOING
YMI currently has 31 mentors mentoring 62 students in 5 Hamilton County Schools.
WHAT IT TAKES
$500 will enable YMI to mentor a student while in school during the 2011-2012 school year.
WHAT WE WANT TO DO
By 2020, YMI wants to have a community-funded mentor program in every Intermediate, Junior High, Freshman Campus, and High School in the Hamilton Southeastern School Corporation.
